I received my PhD in physics from the Ohio State University in May 2013. My specialty is experimental high-energy particle astrophysics. I am interested in performing indirect dark matter data analyses and also working on the development of gamma-ray detectors used in those searches. See my CV for a list of publications I have led or contributed to.

I have also participated in several outreach efforts. I think its important to show that physicists are normal people and make the field more relatable and transparent.

Currently I am the Marie Curie Distinguished Postdoctoral Fellow at Los Alamos National Laboratory. As a member of the Fermi Large Area Telescope Collaboration and the High Altitude Water Cherenkov (HAWC) Collaboration, I study high-energy gamma rays and search for new signals from exotic phenomenon like particle dark matter interactions in space.

I've published a textbook! Searching for Dark Matter with Cosmic Gamma Rays
